Short version: we never see your files.
All PDF processing happens locally in your browser. When you drop a file into one of our tools, the file is read into your browser's memory using the File API. It is not uploaded, not sent to any server, and not stored anywhere by us. When you close the tab it is gone.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. We also use Google AdSense, which sets cookies and collects usage data in order to serve and measure advertisements — this is covered by Google's advertising policy.
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes materially, the new version will be posted on this page.
